Harrisburg Mall, October 4th 2009
Arrived on the 3rd and stayed at the Holiday Inn Express (fab little hotel chain!) Rooms were clean, breakfast was hot and all was well.
Arrived at the Mall at 9:17 and Vicki had arrived a few hours earlier from North Carolina!! She actually drove up for the DAY!

Come on people, that is dedication!!! a SIXTEEN hour ROUND TRIP drive!! *hi fives Vicki!* She got in line and held our spot at 63rd place in line! We were RIGHT UP CLOSE at the beginning of the line when things started. I believe once he arrived it was only about an hour until we got 'our time' with Peter!

Vicki and I were inspired by the Alex's Lemonade Charity and decided to each get a bottle of Lemonade to sip while we waited!






We waited in line in a vacant Boscov's store that had a carpeted floor and power outlets! We were able to charge our iPhones and play Scene-It Twilight Edition to kill time while we waited! We met a really nice Twi-Guy whom we chatted with during the wait. He knew his Twi-Trivia! GO TWI-GUY!!!














When we almost to the stage, Peter glanced down and saw Vicki and me. He recognized us and shouted down, "Hey Gabi-Goodle!!" That was sooooo funny! It's amazing to be part of Peter's Iphone Application Community! Vicki and I actually MET in the chat room on Peter's App, many months ago! Thanks Rob DeFranco for creating such a neat application where fans could meet and share our mutual love and respect for Peter!!

My husband made this way cool, Carlisle Cullen Baseball Figure and Peter thought it was the coolest thing!! He asked if he could sign the back of the Baseball Jersey!














My girls were excited to meet Peter for the 2nd time and love to tell their friends and teachers that the have met Dr. Cullen from the movie, "Twilight". Peter remembered them and said, "Ellie.. Ellie.. Ellie. You know if I married you you'd be Ellie Facinelli!" Ellie thought that was pretty silly ! After all she's only 5 and her heart belongs to Jacob Black! Sorry Peter!!

We all had a great time, hanging out, seeing Peter again and supporting a great cause!!

Peter Facinelli Takes NY By Storm

Peter Facinelli takes New York by storm, starts filming 'Nurse Jackie' season two tomorrow

As planned, Peter Facinelli made his way to Middletown, New York for an autograph signing with fans. Part of the proceeds from the signing went to benefit Facinelli's newest charity, Alex's Lemonade, who tweeted that the event was a "huge success!"

According to the Times Herald-Record's Alyssa Sunkin,
"It's very humbling to have people come here and want to meet me," Facinelli said of his celebrity status. "It amazes me."
But he's now using that status for the benefit of others, using this event and many others like it as a way to promote good causes. Fans purchased autographs for $25 or photographs for $40, and a portion of those proceeds will be donated to Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation, an organization that fights childhood cancer.
"It feels really good to be able to use my name to actually spread awareness ...," Facinelli said. "It's been great to able to use it in a positive way."

Facinelli took to Twitter after the event, too, to state that "NY fans were amazing today. Loudest screamers yet!" He also stated that his work on-set the second season for Nurse Jackie would begin today as well and that he would return to filming The Twilight Saga: Eclipse next week. Eclipse director David Slade recently explained that the situation on-set Eclipse was rather "wolfy," so it makes perfect sense that Facinelli's work on Nurse Jackie would take place now. Season two for Nurse Jackie was greenlit for a second season shortly after the very successful premiere this June.

WALLKILL — The only thing Serena Smacchia talks about these days is "Twilight."

The 11-year-old from New Windsor is obsessed with the vampire romance novels penned by Stephenie Meyer and brought to the big screen last year.

Smacchia has read the four novels six times, and not an inch of bare wall space can be found in her bedroom, as it's covered with "Twilight" posters. And now she can add an autograph to her collection.

On Sunday, Smacchia and hundreds of other "Twilight"-crazed fans got the chance to meet one of the actors behind the movie series.

In an event sponsored by the Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union, Peter Facinelli, who portrays the vampire Dr. Carlisle Cullen, the head of the Cullen clan, visited the Galleria at Crystal Run in the Town of Wallkill to give autographs and take photos with his adoring fans.

That resonated with Alison Demarest, 38, and Cathy Manger, 39, both of Montgomery.

"It's a great cause, and, as a mother, it's great to see him getting involved to help children," said Manger, who brought along her two children, Emma, 7, and John, 10.

But that's not the only reason the two women came to the event.

"He's easy (on) the eyes," Demarest said with a chuckle.

Fans waited hours for Facinelli. Joe Iorio, 24, of Goshen, and his friends Alicia Crain, 21, and Jenn Bickel, 20, both of Warwick, were the first in line for autographs. They arrived at 2 a.m. Sunday.

Peter Facinelli made an appearance today at the Galleria At Crystal Run Mall in Middletown, New York! I was fortunate enough to be there to support him and the cause he came so far to support!

It was amazing to meet him and chat, albeit briefly. He really cares about his fans and it was awesome for me because he knew who I was when I told him that I am an Appinelli and remembered my name which was pretty funny!!

I had a great time meeting some friends from Peter's iPhone Application! It was great to put faces to names! Amanda and Erik! You rock!!

I have to thank you, Peter and also Rob D for creating the iPhone App for Peter and his fans.
I have met some of the most amazing people in the chat room on that app and have become incredibly close friends with them in a small amount of time.
Though I have yet to meet up with any of the 'Appinellies' as he calls us, I know several who have met at the Dallas Twi Con and have become even closer friends because of the App. It's great to meet people from all over the world. I look forward to the Twi/Tour in Arlington VA in April! I can't wait to see Lisa, Vicki and Adele! I hope others from the App will be there as well!
